Its properties like as platinum group . It gives inert atmosphere for other chemicals. It’s oxide form is toxic in nature

Discovery :.  Ruthenium is discovered in 1844 by scientist KarlovichKlaus

Origin of name :.  The name Ruthenium is derived from Latin word ‘ Ruthenia ‘ . It is the name of Russia
