1) How to open PowerPoint?
Ans :- There are three steps to open MS- PowerPoint are as follows :-
a) Steps open PowerPoint Using START button
i) At the bottom of the screen, there is a blue bar which is known as Title Bar,
click on START button.
ii) Click on All Programs, then a list of programs appears.
iii) Select and Click on Microsoft Office folder from the various list of
applications.
iv) Click on Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 form the list of MS-Office applications
b) Steps to open PowerPoint Using RUN box
i) At the bottom of the screen, there is a blue bar which is known as Title Bar,
click on START button.
ii) Type Run command in the search box.
OR
To open the RUN box press the Windows Key + R alphabet key.
iii) In the RUN dialog box opens, in that type Powerpoint or powerpnt.
iv) Click on OK button or Press Enter key from the keyboard
c) Steps to Open PowerPoint Using Icon on Desktop
Double click on the Powerpoint icon on the desktop screen if it exists. Hence PowerPoint will get open.

Ans :- We make use of Alt+ F4 key to close Powerpoint.

Ans :- PowerPoint is an presentation software which is used to create different types of
slides/presentation and make it look decorative, impressive, attractive, which grabs the
attention of others by adding various effects like Transition or Animation to it.
2) Write a short note on Presentation?
Ans :- Presentation is a way of displaying /viewing the information about the certain topic to a group of people. Presentation can be one slide or many. It is used to make the
concept/topic/idea more clearly under stable to the audience (group of people)
3) What is a Slide ?
Ans :- A Slide is a single page in a presentation which is used to express our idea/views
about the topics by adding pictures, cliparts, videos, audios, transition or animation effect to it. There are different types of slides in Powerpoint.
4) Write the main Components of the PowerPoint Window?
Ans:- The main components of the PowerPoint Window are Title bar, Quick Access
Toolbar, Ribbons and Tabs, Slide Pane, Notes Pane, Status Bar, View Options.
5) How will you play presentation for the audience in PowerPoint?
Ans :- You can play the presentation for the audience in PowerPoint in two ways i.e is i)
Play the presentation from the very first slide ii) Play the presentation from the Current slide.
i) Play the presentation from the very first slide :- You can log on this option/feature by pressing F5 shortcut key OR Click on Slide show tab Click on from Beginning.
ii) Play the presentation from the Current slide :- You can log on this
option/feature by pressing Shift + F5 shortcut key OR Click on Slide show tab
Click on from current slide.
6) Write about Slide Pane and Notes Panes in PowerPoint.
Ans :- i) Slides Pane :- Slides Pane consists the current slide and all the other slides are
viewed vertically in the left side of the screen. We enter/insert slides in the slides pane
ii) Notes Pane :- It is located just below of the Slides pane which displays if any notes
are been added to the slide.
4. Long Answer Type Questions :-
1) Explain any three components of PowerPoint Window.
Ans :- The three components of PowerPoint Window are :-
i) Slides Pane :- Slides Pane consists the current slide and all the other slides are
viewed vertically in the left side of the screen. We enter/insert slides in the slides pane
ii) Notes Pane :- It is located just below of the Slides pane which displays if any notes
are been added to the slide.
2) How will you create Photo Album presentation in PowerPoint?
Ans :- The steps to create Photo album presentation in PowerPoint are as follows :-
i) Click on Insert tab
ii) From the Images group, Click on Photo album, and then select the option as
Create New Photo Album.
iii) The Photo Album dialog box opens up
iv) In the Photo Album dialog box select and click on the File/Disk button.. The Insert
New Picture dialog box opens up and displays many pictures. From those pictures
select the picture that you wish to insert in your Photo Album and click on Insert
button which takes you back to the Photo Album dialog box.
Note for inserting picture by selection :- If in case you want to insert/add more than one image in the photo album, you can click on any of the image and press Ctrl + A or hold Ctrl key while clicking on the desired image.
v) There are many features in Photo Album dialog box like rotation picture,
brightness and contrast setting, change the layouts of the picture, rearrange or
remove pictures. As per the requirement you can change the settings and click on
create button after which the picture gets inserted into the album.
Now a separate presentation along with photo album will be created. Title slide
and add one slide per picture by default in the presentation.
