Akbar’s court employed Birbal as a courtier. He was exceedingly sage and clever. He figured out the brahmin’s case in an extremely cunning way. He aided in his reward’s acquisition. He used his Khichdi plan to force Akbar to give the brahmin 2,000 gold coins.
