(1) For typing purpose, a keyboard can be divided in how many parts?
Ans :- The keyboard can be divided into two parts i.e is left hand side and right hand side for typing purpose.
(2) Write the name of the technique for typing with all fingers without looking at keyboard.
Answer:-Touch Typing is the name of the technique for typing with all fingers without looking at keyboard.
(3) Write the name of any one Font.
Answer:- There are many fonts which are used for typing but Calibri (Body) is one name ofthe font.
(4) Which finger is used to press spacebar during typing.
Answer:- We make use our dominant right thumb for pressing the spacebar key while typing.
5) Which key is used to go to a new line during typing
Answer:- Enter key is sued to go to a new line during typing.
Q3) Short answer type questions :-
(1) What is Touch Typing?
Answer:- It is way of typing in which the user just touches keyboard keys/learns to type with his fingers and does the typing wok, but he doesn’t look at the keyboard while typing.\
(2) Describe the position of our fingers on Home Row Key?
Answer:- While typing with the Home Row Key, the position of our hand’s fingers should be place in such a manner as—
i) Left hand Fingers position
(a) Little Finger (fourth finger):- The little finger should be kept on the alphabet A.
(b) Ring Finger (third finger):- Ring finger should be kept on the alphabet S
c) Middle Finger (second finger):- The Middle finger should be kept on the alphabet
d) Index Finger (first finger):- Index finger should be kept on the alphabet F or on G
(ii) Right hand Fingers position
(a) Little Finger (fourth finger):- The little finger should be kept on the colon and semi colon ;/:
(b) Ring Finger (third finger):- Ring finger should be kept on the alphabet L
c) Middle finger (second finger):- The Middle finger should be kept on the alphabet K
d) Index Finger (first finger):- Index finger should be kept on the alphabet J or on H
(3) What are the tips to improve typing speed.
Answer :- We can improve the improve typing speed but there are some ways:
(i) While typing, our one hands one finger should be positioned/place at the Home position, from where we can start to and return back to position. We can reach the other keys from the home position.
(ii) While typing let it require much time for practicing, don’t worry about the speed and accuracy. Practicing it again and again will improve the speed, accuracy etc.
(iii) Typing should be done by touching i.e. means we should completely avoid to look at the keyboard and do typing. Because looking out for the alphabet at keyboard takes time.
(iv) When we press any key from the keyboard, we should recall/say the alphabet to ourselves or in our mind.
(4) While typing numbers from numeric keypad, which hand we should use? Explain the position of your fingers on numeric key pad.
Answer:- For typing numbers from the numeric keypad, one must use only one hand i.e is right hand. The position of the fingers that is placed on the numeric keypad are as follows:-

(1) Explain the Proper Posture while typing?
Answer:- It is a must for every computer user to follow the proper posture while typing, such as:-
(a) The person who is making use of the computer for the typing purpose is that we should sit straight in such a way we should be directly in front of the keyboard.
(b) We must sit in such a position that our feet is flat and touching the floor.
(c) We should sit that the monitor is placed to the eye level.
(d) Our eyes should always be kept on the monitor. It should not be moved here and there.
(e) The fingers should be placed curved and upright on the home keys.
(f) We should strike each key with a quick snap and then return to home position keys.
(2) Explain the following keys :-
(a) Enter key (b) Backspace key (c) Shift key
Answer:- The description of the following keyboard keys are as followed:-
(a) Enter key:- This key is made used to take the cursor to the new line and start the typing from the cursors placed position. This key is also used to execute the command.
(b) Backspace key:- This key is used to delete the word/alphabet and Move the cursor one step back.
(c) Shift key:- There are 2 shift keys on the keyboard., which is used with a combination of other keys on the keyboard for typing capital letters or special characters.
