Q5) Long Answer Type Questions :-
1) What are Tags? Explain two different types of tags used in HTML
Ans :- In HTML, the special instructions are written in text form are to be termed as Tags. The instructions in the tags are been specified by the angle brackets < >. This tags helps/guides the web browser how to show and organize the text, images and other contents in the web pages. Some tags have both open and close ended tags. These tags are also called as container tags that affects the text between the tags. The closing tags are been closed by adding a forward slash (/) symbol. The tags which have only open tags are known as empty tags. You may use any cases (upper case and lowercase characters) for typing/ defining tags. But mostly writing the tags in the uppercase are mostly preferred. There are two types of tags in HTML language which are container tags and empty tags.
a) Container tags :- In container tags there are both tags are been used i.e is starting and closing. The tags are opened with just angular bracket ( < >) and closed by angular brackets along with forward slash ( </> ). For ex :- Starting Tag means Opening Tag <HTML>
Ending Tag means closing tag < / HTML >
b) Empty tags :- In this type of tags there is no need of closing/ ending tags, they have only opening/ starting tags. For ex :- < BR > Starting/ Opening tag.
2) How will you work with fonts in the HTML document
Ans :- If we want to make/work different types of fonts in HTML webpage, then we should remember to make use of <FONT> tag. The <FONT>tag helps use make web page look very attractive and readable by changing its font/style of the text, text size, text/font color. This <font> has some attributes which are as followed :-
i) Color :- By making use of this attribute, we can change the text color in the web page/document. We can change text color by making use of Hexadecimal codes such as
a) Purple :- #800080
b) Maroon :- #800000
c) Tomato :- #FF6347
d) Deep pink :- #FF1493
e) Salmon :- #FA8072
f) Violet :- #EE82EE
g) Crimson :- #DC143C
h) Lawn green :- #76FC00
or by naming a particular color like Red, Black, White.
ii) Face :- This attribute is used for changing the font face/ text style. This helps the user in viewing the web page look very beautiful and hence grabs the attention of other viewers. If incase the font/ text that we applied in our webpage for formatting and is not been installed in our computer, then the webpage will automatically display the font that is by default installed in the computer.
iii) Size :- With the help of this attribute we can change the size of the font/text. The sizes can be used by applying the numeric expressions ( which starts from 1 to 7, where 1 is the smallest value and 7 is the largest value) or relative value. By default font size is 3 or relative values +1 which means the font size increase by 1 than the previous font size and -2 which means the font size decreases by 2 than the previous applied font size.
3) Explain about the body part of the HTML document? How will you format it?
Ans :- The body part is also very important part in the HTML document. In this part, the user can display the main contents of webpage. This part is been declared by making use of the <BODY> tag and it is a container tag. In this tag, the user can make an addition of contents like text, images, videos, tables, lists, forms etc. The body tag starts with <BODY> and ends with </BODY>. The <BODY> tag is used below the </HEAD> tag where as </BODY> tag appears above the </HTML> tag.
