Ans :- Office tools are the application softwares which are been used for updating, creating, managing, handling etc of large documents and data. There are various types of office tools which helps to complete the work very easily that requires repeat which saves the users a lot of time and energy. Word processors, Presentation tools, spreadsheet softwares, graphics tools, database management tools etc are the examples of offline office tools where as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, Microsoft Office Drive, Gmail, Google Forms etc are the examples of online office tools.
2) What is Application Software?
Ans :- Application Software are the software which are been created or helpful to the users accomplishing many official related tasks like creation, updation of documents, handling and maintaining large amount of data or documents, creating presentations etc. Application software is also called as End- User Application.
3) Write some examples of Word Processing tools
Ans :- MS-Word, Word Pad, Word Perfect, Google Docs, Open Office Writer etc are some examples of Word Processing tools.

1) What are Softwares? Explain different types of softwares.
Ans :- Software acts as a bridge between computer user and the computer hardware. Software is a set of programs/instruction with whose help the user can perform some specific task or it can be used for the operating a computer. Software helps/instructs the connected hardwares to the computer in the terms of what work should be done, how it should be done etc. There is proper requirement of the combination of hardware and software together to complete/perform a specific work on the computer.
There are two types of computer software those are :-
a) System software :- This type of software is a programs collection which is mostly used in the terms of controlling the processing/working of the computer system. Assembly Language (low level language) is the computer programming language which is used for writing this type of software. This type of software which are been created by making use of low level programming languages are created for the purpose to communicate between the hardware of the computer. Computer manufacturers creates such type of software. Operating systems like Windows, Linux etc , Language translators, (Compilers, Interpreter, Assemblers etc) are some of the examples of this kind of software.
b) Application software :- Application software is helpful to computer users in completing specific tasks. As we know there is different types of requirements are been required by different users, so different types of application software are been used as per the users requirement. The examples of some application software and their user are Photoshop software is only used for photo editing, Tally software is used for maintaining accounting records by the accountant, in offices application software like word processor are been used for preparing various documents etc. This software is been created by making use of High Level computer programming languages such as Java, Visual Studio, .NET etc. This software is worthless/of no use without the system software (operating system). Application software consists of different Office tools (the tools which are made used by the user in the office in completing some specific office related works such as creation and editing of word processor documents, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, sending the mails etc. The other name of application system is End-User Application.

Ans :- The advantages and disadvantages of using online office tools are as followed :-
Advantages of using online office tools
i) There is no extra charge been charged to the user for using the service once if that user has accessed to the computer with the web browser along with the internet connection.
ii) The user does not need to install or download any software for using this service.
iii) This service requires less hardware as if this service can be used/ run on the clients by making use of N computing devices.
iv) This service is sued for sharing the files online.
v) There is no need to purchase or update for a special software or license for using this service. The online office tools already comes up with the suite acting as a software which helps the user in using this service.
vi) This service is much flexible to use which means the user can make use of it by accessing various documents along with getting connected to the internet, but this mostly depends on the type of operating system the user is making use.
Disadvantages of using online office tools
i) This service is provided online which means there is a need of network connectivity. If incase, in the rural area, if there is network or remote server is not available, then the content will be also not available. Hence this service totally depends on the network connectivity.
ii) For using this service there is a need of high speed of internet connection. There is a possibility for the users who have a very slow speed of internet connection to face the problem of speed and accessibility problems.
iii) There are number of online features available which are provided in this service, which lacks the offline features.
iv) For accessing / using this service, subscription is been charged. If incase the service is been charged for a long time, the subscription charged towards it may be much more costly in comparison to purchase the software offline.
v) There is a need for the user to control the changes in the version of the software. If incase, the software version is been changed, then the user has to make use of that changed software, sometimes the changed version of software does not suits the user.
vi) The user has to be much dependent on the service providers in terms of security and privacy.
