Answer :- Producers are those living organisms who make their own food.

Answer :- Food consumers are those organisms who do not make their own food.

5.)  Can you name some food producers ?

Answer :- Yes, plants are the food producers.

6.) How do they produce their own food ?

Answer :- Plants produce their own food by photosynthesis.

7.) Can you name some food consumers ?

Answer :- Yes, animals and plants are food consumers.

 

Living organisms are mainly divided into 2 groups that is producers and consumers, and this classification is majorly based on animals and plants.

Green plants make their own food are called producers. The process of making food called photosynthesis. They make their own food using sunlight, air and water. So, the examples of such organisms are plants and algae.

Consumers are those organisms which do not make their own food and feed on plant material or animal material. Example of consumers are Human and animals.

Consumers are again divided into 3 types

1.) Primary consumer     2.) Secondary consumer         3.) Tertiary consumer

Tertiary consumer eats secondary consumer and secondary consumer eat primary consumer while primary consumer eat producers such as green plants. As we can observe it in diagram :
