Post Cards on Unsung heroes of Freedom Struggle for Class 4th to 12th
Respected sir,
We got independence on 15 August 1947, the heroes of our country who sacrificed their lives to free us from the rules of Britishers. We usually talk about Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and many more but we never talked about some unsung heroes like Abul Kalam Azad, Birsa Munda, Pingali Venkayya, Matangini Hazra and many more.
Abul Kalam Azad, an educator not only helps in independence but also contributed in education system of India.
Kundiram Bose, a young freedom fighter who lost his life when he was 18 years old. He was appointed to kill kingsford by a bomb blast where he was caught by two officers in vaini railway station and hanged to death.
Vallabhbhai Patel was a barrister struggle his life in independence was also served as a leader of Indian National Congress.
Pingali venkyya, a freedom fighter and a follower of Mahatma Gandhi not only contributed in independence but also designed our first national flag.
Kamla Devi Chattopadhyay, a social reformer and a freedom fighter she contributed mostly in the sector of handicrafts and empowering women. She took part in non cooperation movement (1923) alongside Mahatma Gandhi.
Matangini Hazra, a freedom fighter who contributed by taking part in movements like civil disobedience and quit India movement. she also participated in Dandi March against the salt taxation where she got arrested.
Talking about this freedom fighters and their contributions which many people are unaware is delightful. we can talk about unsung heroes and their contributions in freedom but we cannot repay them what they have done for us. They were the people who selflessly struggled their lives and help us to free from the slavery of Britishers who slaved for 200 years.
