1) Principal = 800
Rate = 5%
Time = 3 years
Simple intrest = P × R × T
= 800 × 5/100 × 3
= 8 × 5 × 3
Simple interest = 120
Rs.120 Arati has to pay to minal.
2) Principal = 1500
Rate = 8%
Time = 5 years
Simple intrest = P × R × T
= 1500 × 8/100 × 5
= 15 × 40
Simple interest = 600
Sita has to pay Rs.600 as a simple interest ram after 5 years.
3) Principal = 5000
Rate = 12%
Time = 4 years
Simple interest = P × R × T
= 5000 × 12/100 × 4
= 50 × 12 × 4
= 50 × 48
Simple interest = 2400
Rs. 2400 is the simple interest at the end of 4 years
4) Principal = 2500
Rate = 5%
Time = 5 years
Simple interest = P × R × T
= 2500 × 5/100 × 5
= 25 × 25
= 625
Rs. 625 is the simple interest she get at end of 5 years.

Simple interest = P × R × T
= 10,000 × 3/100 × 3
= 100 × 9
= 900
Rs. 625 is the simple interest she get at end of 5 years.
Amount = principal + Simple interest
= 10,000 + 900
= 10,900
Rs. 10,900 is the amount she pays back after 3 years.
6) Principal = 5000
Rate = 5%
Time = 2 years
Simple interest = P × R × T
= 5000 × 5/100 × 2
= 50× 5 × 2
= 500
Amount = principal + Simple interest
= 5000 + 500
= 5500
Rs. 5500 is the amount .he pays back after 2 years.
7) Principal = 6000
Rate = 4%
Time = 6 years
Simple interest = P × R × T
= 6000 × 4/100 × 6
= 60 × 24
= 1440
Amount = principal + Simple interest
= 6000 + 1440
= 7440
Rs. 7440 is the amount . Shyam will get back of the 6 years.

1) Meena’s percentage
= 550/1000×100
= 550/1000×100
= 55%
Reena’s percentage = 600/1000×100
60% – 55% = 5% = 60%
Reena scored more marks than that of meena
2) Ramu earn = 50/100×3000
= 1500
Ramu spent Rs. 1500 on food.
3) = 35/700×100
= 5%
Sima got 5%
4) Student = 50
Girls = 20%
= 20%
= 50 × 20/100
