Introduction – Woman empowerment means making the woman of our society capable of deciding what is good or bad for them. It is also defined as the strengthening of their self-worth and also the right to influence changes for themselves. In earlier times , the society as a whole was male dominated , woman had suffered a lot in the hands of the men. They were the victim of numerous social evils such as the sati practice , purdah system and child marriage . They were not allowed to get educated or their birth was often considered a burden , they were killed by the families as soon as they were born. Even today the world still has not completely recognised the worth of a woman.Still today itl prevails in the form of low wage against a male peer in the same occupation As time passed by , woman realized their power and worth , they began to acknowledge that they are also capable of doing everything than a man can do. This started a long run revolution to empower woman . Malala Yusufzai , is one prime example of a woman who set an example to the World about the immense power that a woman posses.
Need for women empowerment – Woman empowerment makes them aware of their rights and place in a society rather than relying upon a male. In a country like ours there still plenty of room for the woman in our country to grow and empower. It makes them fearless , if makes them raise voice against any ill action against their rights . They became brave enough to protect themselves from harassment and ask for a equal pay .Woman empowerment not only improves the lives of woman but also adds up the knowledge and experience that can be shared to the public .
Ways to empower woman – There are just one way to empower woman that is to make them believe in themselves . But that can be achieved is a whole lot of ways . Government and individuals and the society as a whole should work together. It should be the taught by the families as well as in the schools that they are not inferior to anyone . Families should treat their sons and daughter the same way. The world is filled with such brave hearts woman who have risen against the odds . Their example should be taught to the each and every girl that doubt themselves.
