Paragraph on Rabindra Nath Tagore
Rabindra Nath Tagore or “Kobi Guru Rabindranath Tagore” is the pride of Bengal. He is regarded as one of the most prominent writers who highlighted the Bengali literature. Rabindra Nath was born in a sophisticated family of Calcutta. He was not a very good student in school but always had a liking for literature & creativity since childhood. His family was an educated family. He also had musical lesson from musicians since childhood. He could not understand the concept of studies in classroom & always wanted knowledge & nature to go side by side. He was the writer of the national anthem “Jana Gana Mana”. He always tried to highlight the reality of Bengal which attracted people to his work. He tried to establish him an independent writer free from the traditional society. His works have been translated into several languages. His songs are specially specified as “Rabindra Sangeet” which are full of melody & feelings. His famous book Gitanjali even owned him the Nobel Prize. He was not in favour of Mahatma Gandhi & the Swadeshi Movement. During the 19th century he found himself to be in great impact of globalisation.
