Palladium :

Define: Palladium is transition metal place in between nickel and platinum. It is rare earth metal. It show lustrous ,shiny nature. It is found in earth crust in the from of sulphide minerals . It is also extracted from some metal refining   as like zinc ,Copper, Nickel metal refining.

It is non toxic in nature . It is least dense metal . Mostly it is use as catalyst . It is a good catalyst . Palladium is non corrosive metal hence it is use to prevention from corrosion.

Discovery :.  Palladium is discovered in 1803 by scientist William Hyde wollaston

Origin of name :. The name is originated after the asteroid pallaus . And gives name after the Greek Goddess of wisdom , pallaus
