* “The poetry of earth is never dead” – Explain in your own words.
Answer:- In Keats poem ‘On the grasshopper and cricket’. The massage of poem is clearly depicted in the first line ‘The poetry of earth is never dead’, Keats here emphatically assets that regardless of the fact whether it is summer or winter the poetry of nature is omnipresent. The poem shows us that the nature is beautiful. In summer and winter this beauty is shown through the grasshopper and cricket respectively. Both in their own ways are brilliantly different, yet so similar in summer the grasshopper seems unaffected by it. He is fond of warmth and uses the season to his advantage. He leads a carefree life and takes rest beneath some pleasant weed. On contrary winter is very cold. “The trust has wrought or silence’ then but still cricket is there to keep the music alive. Its shrill reminds us to grasshopper. ‘Among some grassy hills’ and assures us that summer will return. Thus the earth is beautiful and always will be.
