NTSE Maharashtra Previous Year Question Paper
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) State Level National Talent Search Examination ( Stage-1) 2020-21 for Class 10th Scholars National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) started in the time 1963. The purpose of the scheme is to identify talented scholars and nurture them. National Talent Search Scheme is for scholars studying in ClassX. 1. Literacy On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, 2000 literacy will be awarded. The quantum of education will be as under Education of Rs. 1250/-per month for Class – XI to XII. Education of Rs. 2000/-per month for Undergraduates and post-graduates. Quantum of Education for Ph.D. be fixed in agreement with the UGC morals. 2. Reservation As per reservation policy of UT Chandigarh. 3. Selection There will be a two-stage selection process for the award of education. Stage – I selection is done by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Sector 32, UT Chandigarh through a written examination. Named scholars of Stage-I’ll be recommended to appear for the Stage-II examination conducted by NCERT.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates studying in class 10th in any of the recognised schools are eligible.
- Students must have 60% marks to appky. However 55% is required for reservation quota students.

Syllabus
I Level Test
MAT The syllabi will comprise all abecedarian assignments of verbal and non-verbal logic.
SAT The syllabus for Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be astronomically grounded on the specified separate State Board Syllabus from std 10 (or in exceptions, std 9) handbooks only.
II Position Test
MAT The syllabi will comprise all abecedarian assignments of verbal and non-verbal logic.
SAT The Mathematics and Science questions will be asked from the chapters in the syllabus of class 9th and 10th ( advanced position). Social Studies is fully grounded on the NCERT book for CBSE scholars for Class 9th and 10th
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q1. Is NTSE syllabus is same for all states?
Yes, the NTSE syllabus for every year remains the same as the NCERT syllabus of class 9th and 10th.
Q2. Is NTSE is free of cost ?
No, there no such fees charged by NTSE registration by NCERT. However, for stage 1 states/UTs may charge a registration fees.
Q3. I don’t know whom to send my NTSE form ?
Center Stage 1- it has to be attested by your school Principal. And normally it is routed through your school only. For second level, you need not to apply, you will be receiving the admit card from NCERT for the second stage
Q4. Is English removed in NTSE ?
The language part in NTSE exam has been removed. There will be total of 2 sections 1st is SAT &2nd MAT
