Ans:- The print on the ground had toes, heel and every part of a foot. This made Robinson Crusoe think that the print on the ground was a footprint.
(2) Why was Robinson afraid when he looked at the bushes and trees?
Ans:- It seemed strange to Robinson when he found the footprint but no one was there. So, at the time of returning home when he looked at the bushes and trees they all seemed to him like a man and he became afraid.
(3) Why did Robinson pray when he saw the footprint?
Ans:- Robinson thought that the footprint belonged to one of the savages of the mainland and they would soon come to kill and eat him. So, he became frightened and prayed for protection.
(4) Choose the correct answer.

(3) Write a story on strange footprints.
One day in the late evening when I came home I saw some strange footprints in our garden. It was raining outside and the footprints were not so clear. It became dark as the sun had taken rest. I did not had any pet so the footprints seemed strange to me. Then I followed them fearfully and saw something which was unexpected. It was Rocky, my neighbour’s pet dog. He somehow came here and could not find the way out. I took him and got him back to his home.
