Q1) Answer the following questions :-
1) State the precautions one should take while working with a machine.
Ans:- Following are the safety measures that one should take while working with a machine :-
- For proper handling of machines, one should wash his hands properly to remove grease or oil or chalk
- Do not wear loose clothes while working with machines as there may be a chance of clothes getting engaged into the
- While working with machines try to focus on the work and try to avoid
- When the machine is not in use, switch off the
- Keep the extra spare parts properly in a proper place, so that they does not fall on anyone.
- Do not touch the machines moving parts as it may result to severe injury by tearing off skin or burn due to

2) While opening a bottle containing liquid insecticide, the liquid fell on your clothes. How can you prevent its harmful effects on you?
Ans :- While opening a bottle containing liquid insecticide, if incase the liquid fells down on the clothes then first of all we should remove those clothes from our body. Don’t wear them again if they are not cleaned/washed properly. And wash the body parts where its fallen with water and soap or you may take a bath.
3) Electrical gadgets are used in all households. What are the requirements for these gadgets which will prevent you from getting an electric shock.
Ans :- The following preventive measure are been taken care of to prevent us from getting an electric shock.
- Make sure that MCBs (Miniature Circuit Board) is already installed in your main switch board.
- If you see any sparking in the main switch board, then you can replace the heated sockets or switches.
- Before making use of any electrical gadgets, kindly read the instructions or guidelines carefully.
- Don’t be a fool of touching the electrical gadgets or its components with moist/wet
- Make sure that the electric gadgets/ electric supply are always been turned off, when they (electric gadgets) are not in
- If incase there is a leakage of current then there may be a risk of getting an electric shock. So make sure that you wear a rubber slipper or
- If you don’t have any ide of repairing any part of the gadget (if your are no trained) then you need have to repair the gadget
- Never go in contact with the electric wires, fire and water. Stay away from them as they may dangerous to our life. You may make use of dry sand if in case of fire.

4) What do you understand by the First Aid? What are the priorities you should keep in mind before administering first aid?
Ans :- Some times, you are need of an urgency medical treatment, but unfortunately you wont receive at that particular time/moment. You only receive it, when you visit the hospital. First Aid is the concept of receiving of basic medical treatment help but for only temporary basis till the person is admitted in the hospital or been treated by the doctor. First Aid Unit is always present at various competitions, political rallies, campaigns, etc. you may have seen that while purchasing the any vehicle for the first time, the vehicle company/showroom gives the first kit box along with the vehicle. While dealing /administering with the first aid, the things you must keep in mind are :-

6) Why should you not practice self medication
Ans :- Always consume the medicines as prescribed by the doctor or by this guide lines.
- Never try to take the medicines without consulting the doctor or by his prescription (self medication). As self medication would dangerous for the
