Answer:
Iswaran narrated another story of a tusker. Iswaran said that his village was surrounded by a dense forest. The tree logs were carried out by elephants. One day an elephant escaped from the timber yard by crushing tearing and breaking small plants and branches of the tree, reached to the outer boundary of their town. He broke all the food stalls of the main road. Then, by breaking the wall of the school, he entered to the ground where the students were playing. It broke the goal post, the net and damaged other things. Iswaran was the only one who stopped it with a single stick. He was the only one who hit on the elephant toe nail with his all force. And finally the elephant got fainted and fell on the ground.
No, it does not appear to be plausible as Iswaran added much unrealistic things to describe it.

4.) Why does the author say that Iswaran seemed to more than make up for the absence of a TV in Mahendra’s living quarters?
Answer:
The author said that Iswaran seemed to more than make up for the absence of a TV in Mahendra’s living quarters as he was the real entertainer. He used to narrate stories with detailed descriptions, a lot of suspense and thriller. He used to make it interesting for the listeners by adding extra effects and examples. He had that talent giving real effects to the stories. So, can be said that his stories were not less interesting than the other sources of entertainment.
5.) Mahendra calls ghosts or spirits a figment of the imagination. What happens to him on a full-moon night?
Answer:
Mahendra did not believe the concept of ghost or spirit. But on one full night when he was sleeping, he heard the sound of someone’s cry. At first he thought it was the sound of cat or mice but as time passed on the sound became louder out of curiosity he peeped out of the window. Hence he saw a figure in the darkness, a figure with a bundle in its owns. He got scared initially but later he convinced himself by saying that it was his fear which was haunting him in its subconscious about the ghost image, when Iswaran described him the save.
6.) Can you think of some other ending for the story?
Answer:
