Natural resources can be categorised into 2 resources which are renewable and non-renewable resources.

 

Renewable resources–Renewable resources are those resources that continue to exist in our nature despite being consumed or that can replenish themselves over a period of time even as they are used.

 

Non –renewable resources–Non-renewable resources are that natural resources which cannot be replaced by nature in a quick span of time. These resources are derived from earth and they take billions of years to replenish.
