(1) (i) Who is the speaker in the poem?

Ans:- The poet, Frank Flynn is the speaker in the poem.

(ii) Is she/he afraid or curious, or both?

Ans:- She/he is both, afraid as well as curious.

(iii) What is she/he planning to do soon?

Ans:- She/he is planning to open the door of the shed and enter one day.

(iv) “But not just yet…” suggests doubt, fear, hesitation, laziness or something else. Choose the word which seems right to you. Tell others why you chose it.

Ans. The line ‘’But not just yet’’ suggests his hesitation about the shed. He wants to take some more time either to step inside the shed or not. Though he was afraid to enter, but at the same time, he knows that the ghost story was a lie. Thus, he thought to enter the shed soon but not then.
