(1) (i) When is a grown up likely to say this? “Don’t talk with your mouth full”
Ans:- A ground up say this when children talk while eating their food with full mouth.
(ii) When are you likely to be told this? “ Say thank you”
Ans:- We are to be told to say thank you when someone gifted us anything or helped us when needed.
(2) The last two lines of the poem are not prohibitions or instructions. What is the adult now asking the child to do? Do you think the poet is suggesting that this is an reasonable? Why?
Ans:- The last two lines suggests that the adults are now approaching the children to take their decisions of their own self. Yes, i think the poet suggests it totally unreasonable because when they were young, they were dominated by their elders and this made the children depended on them. The child are not enough trained to behave when to take decisions by themselves.
(3) Why do you think grownups say the kind of thinks mentioned in the poem? Is it important that they teach children good manners, and how to behave in public?
Ans:- The grownups trained their children in a different way and they do to learn them good manners and prepare them how to behave or in a dominating way.
