The ghost failed to crush the rock. Then Vijay singh crushed the Egg and pick a lump of salt with his hands and showed to the ghost. In this way he convinced the ghost that he was more powerful than ghost.

Vijay singh conclude that when the ghost could not notice the difference between stone and salt and ghost was stupid fellow. Vijay singh justified to think that he was not worthy opponent not because his weakness but his foolishness.
