3.) Convert the following sentences to Reported Speech. (10 Marks)

4.) Your school has recently taken your class to see the Indian national Museum. However, due to illness your friend Aditya could not attend the trip. Write in indirect speech the conversation you had with Aditya describing him the entire trip. (10 marks)

Mother: I am going to the market to buy groceries. Do you need anything?
Father: I have been having cramps. Can you bring some medicines or ointments for me?
Daughter: I think father should visit a doctor before you take any medicine.
Father: I have been meaning to visit the doctor for quite sometime now. But due to the office I am unable to figure out the best time to go.
Mother: I think so as well! If you neglect this it may result in something more negative.
Father: I think you guys are right. But suggest to me the time to visit the doctor.
Mother: I am going to the market. It is near the doctor’s chamber, you should come with me to the doctor.
Daughter: Yes it is a great idea. You should go with Mother to the doctor now.
Father: Okay! I will get ready in an instant!
2.) Rewrite the following passage in direct speech. (10 marks)
After reaching the hotel, Jon quietly said to his sister that they have reached the destination.
3.) Write a conversation with your friend regarding the upcoming exams. Make sure to write in a direct speech. Write at least 10 lines of conversation. (10 Marks)
4.) You are Ravi. Simran just called you looking for Ramesh. However, Ramesh is not available at the moment and has asked you to take a message for him. Write in indirect speech the message Simran had for Ramesh. (10 Marks)
