Multiplication: 1 to 6 Digits
In double digits we multiply each digit one by one the multiplier. The above indicates that the exponent is divided initially by multiplicand’s singles number, and then it is multiplied by the multiplicand’s tenth numeral.
Here we are going to learn very simple method for 2, 3 , 4 ….digit multiplication.
First we will see two digit multiplication.
Let’s understand this concept with example: –
1) 27 First we multiply right side of digit of both the number
X 13 upper and lower one and will write down the answer

351 on the right end of answer space.
That is 7 X 13=21
Next we multiply left side of digit of both the number upper and lower one and will write down the answer on the left end of answer space.
That is 2 X 1 = 2
After this we will do cross multiplication of the figure.
So,
2 X 3 = 6
7 X 1 = 7
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and write in the middle of right side and left side answer.
First we will see two digit multiplication.
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and write in the middle of right side and left side answer.
6 + 7 = 13

If any answer figure right or middle is two digit than we just have to take right side digit as it is and first digit we will add into left side figure. After this what we will get is final answer.
Here right and middle side figures are of two digits so we will take 1
from right side of answer as it is and add 2 in the left side of figure or middle figure
13 + 5 = 15
Now middle figure is 15
Here we will take 5 as it is in the answer and 1 will add in left side.
2 + 1 = 3
So final answer will be 351.
2) 4 9 First we multiply right side of digit of both the number
X 2 3 upper and lower one and will write down the answer

1 1 2 7 on the right end of answer space.
That is 9 X 3=27
Next we multiply left side of digit of both the number upper and lower one and will write down the answer on the left end of answer space.
That is 4 X 2=8
After this we will do cross multiplication of the figure.
So,
4 X 3=12
9 X 2=18
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and write in the middle of right side and left side answer.
12+18=30
we see figure as below

If any answer figure right or middle is two digit than we just have to take right side digit as it is and first digit we will add into left side figure. After this what we will get is final answer.
Here right and middle side figures are of two digit so we will take 7
from right side of answer as it is and add 2 in the left side of figure or middle figure
30+2=32
Now middle figure is 32
Here we will take 0 as it is in the answer and 3 will add in left side.
8+3=11
So final answer will be 1127.
3) 63 First we multiply right side of digit of both the number
X 81 upper and lower one and will write down the answer

5103 on the right end of answer space.
That is 3 X 1 = 3
Next, we multiply left side of digit of both the number upper and lower one and will write down the answer on the left end of answer space.
That is 6 X 8 = 48
After this we will do cross multiplication of the figure.
So,
6 X 1 = 6
8 X 3 = 24
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and write in the middle of right side and left side answer .
24 + 6 = 30

If any answer figure right or middle is two digit than we just have to take right side digit as it is and first digit we will add into left side figure. After this what we will get is final answer.
Here left and middle side figures are of two digits. So, from the middle figure we will take 0 as it is and add 3 in the left side of figure
48+3=51
Now left side figure is 51
So final answer will be 5103.
4) 342 First we multiply right side of digit of both the number
X 121 upper and lower one and will write down the answer

41382 on the right end of answer space.
That is 2 X 1 = 2
Next we multiply left side of digit of both the number upper and lower one and will write down the answer on the left end of answer space.
That is 3 X 1= 3
Then we will take 4 digits of right side in consideration and do cross multiplication.
4 X 1 = 4
2 X 2 = 4
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and that we write on right side before digit 2.
4+4=8
Now we will take 4 digits of left side in consideration and do cross multiplication.
3 X 2 = 6
4 X 1 = 4
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and that we write on left side after digit 3.
6 + 4 = 10
After this the steps are: –
Middle up and down digit to multiply
4 X 2 = 8
Left side up digit and right side down digit to be multiply
3 X 1 = 3
Right side up digit and left side down digit to be multiply
2 X 1 = 2
Than will add the multiplication answers and that we write in the middle.
8 + 3 + 2 =13.

5) 4621 First we multiply right side of digit of both the number

5180141 on the right end of answer space.
That is 1 X 1=1
Next we multiply left side of digit of both the number upper and lower one and will write down the answer on the left end of answer space.
That is 4 X 1= 4
Than we will take 4 digits of right side in consideration and do cross multiplication.
2 X 1=2
2 X 1=2
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and that we write on right side before digit 1.
2+2=4
Now we will take 4 digits of left side in consideration and do cross multiplication.
4 X 1 = 4
6 X 1 = 6
Than will add the cross multiplication answers and that we write on left side after digit 4.
6 + 4 = 10
3 digits from right side we will multiply like this
2 X 2 = 4,and cross multiplication
6 X 1=6 , 1 X 1=1
Add answer 4+6+1=11 will write on right side before 4
3 digits from left side we will multiply like this
6 X 1=6, and cross multiplication
4 X 2 =8 , 2 X 1 = 2
Add answer 6+8+2=16 will write on left side after 10
Now we will do multiplication of first upper digit of left side and last lower digit of right side
That is
4 X 1 = 4
Then multiplication of second upper digit of left side and second lower digit of right side
That is
6 X 2=12
Multiplication of third upper digit and second lower digit of left side
That is
2 X 1=2
Multiplication of last upper digit and first lower digit
That is
1 X 1=1
Add answer we got
4+12+2+1=19 this we will writ in the middle
Now we see the figure

Here we see two-digit figures so,
For final answer we will take 1 as it is, 4 as it is.
11 for these two digits we take 1 as it is and 1 will added in 19 left said figure so 19+1=20
Again 20 is two digit we take 0 as it is and add 2 in 16 left side digit 16+2=18
Then take 8 as it is added 1 in left side digit 10 so,
10 + 1 = 11
Take 1 as it is and add 1 in left side digit 4+1=5
Now final answer will be 5180141.
