The various parts of a plant are as follows:
1.) Flower – The flower constitutes the most appealing part of a plant . It is linked to the stem through a stalk. A flower has a definite shape and colour.The flower represents a significant means of reproduction.
2.) The stem – The shape, height and size of a plant is mainly dependent on the stem. The stem performs an essential functions of production, conduction and storage of food .It executes the function of reproduction in some plants . It also renders help to other parts of the plant.
3.) The root – Roots performs a significant role in holding the soil firmly and anchor the plant to the soil. Root also soaks and transmits water and essential nutrients from the soil which facilitates the growth of the plant . The foods are also stored in the roots of the carrot and radish . Taproot and fibrous root are basically the two types of root.
4.) The leaf – The structure of the leaf is typically flat.It performs an essential function in the food production.Simple leaves and compound leaves are mainly two different types of leaves.

These rigid shells acts as a protective shield , which enables them to resist any threat or peril. Turtles and sea shell falls under this category. In accordance with the surrounding environment, frogs and chameleon can change their colours. Animals that usually lives in extremely cold regions, have a blubber which means a thick layer of fat beneath the skin which helps them to keep themselves warm. Seals and whales are two such examples.
