(1) (a) Which animals did the Homo sapiens mainly hunt?

Answer:  The Homo sapiens mainly hunted smaller animals like the wild boar, deer, mountain goat and sheep.

Answer: The beginning of cultivation is a characteristic of the culture of the New Stone Age.

(2) (a) The diet of Homo sapiens underwent change?

Answer:  At the middle Stone Age the climate was getting warmer and everywhere the environment was changing with that, the diet of Homo sapiens was also underwent a change.

(b) Homo sapiens needed to stay in one place over longer periods of time?

Answer: the Homo sapiens would find out the best season for fishing and use the knowledge to their advantage. By observation, they discovered the best hunting grounds. For these reasons, they needed to stay in one place over longer periods of time.

(3) (a) Describe the structure of the houses in the picture?

Answer: The houses had no walls. Those had only ceiling made with natural elements.

(b) What materials are used to construct the houses?

Answer: The houses were made out of dry leaves and straws and the branches of tree.

(c) What kind of jobs could the people in the seasonal camps have been doing?

Answer: In the seasonal camps some people have been hunting small animals. Some of them have been cutting woods and make houses. Some are fishing and others are selling those fish.
