(1) Answer the following questions:
(a) During the recess, what do the children in this poem do?
Ans:- In this poem some of the children are jumping, shouting and laughing with joy, whereas some children are playing games during the recess. Also a group of children are walking here and there.
(b) Why does no one win?
Ans:- Before they could finish their game, the bell rings for the next class again. That is why no one wins.
(2) What name or names are used for ‘recess’ in your school?
(For example: Lunch break.)
Ans:- In our school we use the term ‘Tiffin break’ for ‘recess’.
(3) How do you spend your recess? Describe it in 2 3 lines.
Ans:- During recess me and my friends share tiffin’s with each other. Then we play together in groups, run and cheers up with joy.
