(1) Answer the following questions:
(a) How long has it been raining?
Ans:- It has been raining for the whole night long.
(b) What effect will the rain have on the following:
- kitty
- roses
- pansies
Ans:- The little idle kitty will have to clean up its feet because of the rainwater. The rainwater also puts crown of water droplets on the beautiful roses that seem like diamonds. The small cheerful pansies became so muddy as they grow a inch over the ground.
(c) What is the child planning to do the next day?
Ans:- The child is planning to clean up the little pansies at first with her watering pot and then she is going to make paper boat and sail that down in the new places.
(2) Describe in 3-5 lines what happens when it rains in your surroundings.
Ans:- After the rainfall the environment becomes cooler. All the small lakes and rivers of nearby areas get filled with water. Due to the rain the surrounding area gets very dirty. The roads become muddy that blocks the people and creates a complete chaos. When it rains heavily, sometimes the schools get closed.
