Your opinion about the poem: I love this poem for its beautiful and realistic message. In the regular routines of life we somehow forget to enjoy it. So, the poem has given me new insights for changing my life morals and follow it fully-spirited. In this journey I can focus only in the forward by keeping all miseries behind.
iii.) a.) man is free by birth:
Man is the most developed creature on earth with all supreme qualities. Man has the power of gaining knowledge and knowing the entire world through education. They can feel, express, teach and learn which create life of constant growth and development for them. In this life journey men have to face various difficulties based on scenarios where they have to face with full courage. Besides that humans are bound to live in a regular routine for completing significant tasks where they often forget to enjoy the journey. So, the entire journey becomes monotonous and boring which arises problems. They must remember the fact that they are independent to choose their own path of living. Sometimes, they need to follow their hearts by coming out of their comfort zone to fulfil their desires. In this way, they will find out the path of their happiness and do not have to worry about life chances.
iv.) a.) all roads lead to Rome:
This is an English proverb which literally means all the roads will eventually reach us to Rome. In ancient times, Rome was situated in central part and all the roads were constructed in the way that people will reach ultimately to Rome whichever path they take. In this poem, the proverb has been used for explaining different life aspects. It is used to make us understand that no matter how difficult path we choose or how difficult the journey will be, we will reach the same conclusion which is meant to be. It means all the chances, opportunities, initiatives and decisions will lead us to the same outcome at the end.
b.) a man without liberty is a body without soul:
A human body has spiritual side too along with its physical features. Human soul completes that portion by adding all human qualities and emotions. As human beings we all have the freedom of taking decisions by our own to live life in individual ways. But with time we forget that self-image and focus on restricting ourselves as per the needs and rules of the society. But this tendency create gaps within our hearts which are result of unfulfilled wishes. We forget to follow our hearts for such impositions on our own minds. We should live a full-spirited life where we do not need to think about others for bold decisions and its outcomes. Without liberty our hearts will feel emptiness which means body without soul.
