(ii) Write your views/opinions in brief on the following topics.
(a) We must always cast our vote.
Ans. We must always cast our vote because it is our right and being in a democratic country and we should make use of our electoral rights. It is the citizen of the country only who chooses the government and then they work for the citizens of the country. Citizens vote for leaders to highlight their choices and ideas through their chosen leaders, and the leaders care for our interests.
(b) Liberty, equality and fraternity lead to an ideal nation.
Ans. Liberty, equality, and fraternity are considered the trinity of democracy. Where liberty gives us the freedom to put forth our opinion, to cast our vote and choose our own government and the government cannot oppress the citizens or impose authority upon us. Equality ensures equal opportunities to all in each and every sphere, whether it is social, economic, religious etc. and fraternity brings out the common interests and opinion among people, even if they come from different culture, caste or creed. Without fraternity, equality and liberty will be no deeper than coats of paint.
(c) Steps to be taken to eradicate inequality.
Ans. If we continue to deny equality for long, we will do so only to put our political democracy in peril. We must remove the contradiction of inequality at the earliest possible moment or else those who suffer from inequality will blow up the structure of political democracy which this Assembly has so laboriously built up.
