Labelled diagram of Multiple fission in Plasmodium
Labelled diagram of Multiple fission in Plasmodium: It is an asexual form of reproduction in organisms. Here, the nucleus of the organism divides repeatedly to form many daughter nuclei of the same size, and each daughter nucleus breaks up together with a small portion of cytoplasm.
In plasmodium, Multiples fission occurs in two stages schizont and oocyte stage. In the schizote stage, the multiple fission process is called schizongony and the offspring are known as merizoites. In the oocyte stage, multiple fissions occur by sporogony and the progeny are called sporozoites.
Malaria is a disease that is caused by a small creature called Plasmodium. Malaria is a dangerous illness that makes individuals feel unwell and lethargic and, if left untreated, can potentially be fatal.
Through the bite of certain mosquitoes, Plasmodium is transmitted from one person to another. When a person is bitten by an infected mosquito, Plasmodium enters their body and begins to develop inside their blood. This can make a person feel quite ill and cause symptoms including fever, chills, headaches, and body pains.
In various parts of the world, especially in warm and tropical regions, malaria is a frequent disease.
