Belling the Cat
The mice in the grocer’s shop ate plenty of grains and he had to suffer a great loss (lose). So, he bought a cat for the detection (detect) of the mice’s hiding place. When Ekalavya learn from Drona’s statue with his devotion to archery and when Drona came to know it he astonished but Arjun reminded him that Drona promised Arjun to make him the best archer and pressurized Drona then Drona asked Ekalavya for Gurudakshina and the Gurudakshina was the thumb of right hand of Ekalavya. Ekalavya said that his goal to eradicate wild animal is fulfilled and he no need to be good archer anymore so without thinking much he cut his thumb and presented Drona as Gurudaskshina. It makes Ekalavya a noble student.
