A.) Answer the following questions:

 

1.) Who was considered as a role model for all ‘Danas’?

Answer: Karna was considered as a role model for all ‘Danas’.

 

2.) What happened when Krishna snapped his fingers?

Answer:When Krishna snapped his fingers the mountains beside the path turned into gold.

 

3.) What did Arjuna proclaim?

Answer:Arjuna proclaimed that he is going to distribute two mountains of gold among the villagers.

 

4.) How did Arjuna donate gold to the villagers?

Answer: Arjuna shoveled gold from the mountain and donated to each villager for two days and two nights continuously.

 

5.) Why was Arjuna dumbfounded?

Answer: When Krishna told Karna to donate two mountains of gold then Karna called two villagers and just donated them without thinking much about it. This is the reason Arjuna sat dumbfounded.

 

6.) What did Krishna say about Karna?

Answer:Krishna said that Karna doesn’t hold any reservations. He doesn’t expect people to sing his praises nor he cares about the people talk behind his back. According to Krishna this is the sign of a man already on the path of enlightenment.

A.) Answer the following questions:

 

1.) Why does the poet want to be the light to the blind?

Answer: The poet wants to be the light to the blind so they can see with their minds. Thus, blind will see the mountains, the hills and the oceans.

 

2.) What does the poet want to be to the deaf?

Answer: Poet want to be voice for the deaf so deaf can hear the sound of music with their hears.

 

3.) How does the poet want to help the orphan?

Answer: The poet wants to be a soft-hearted mother of orphans. Poet want to make orphans to find and realize the love and warmth.

 

4.) What is the poet’s prayer to God?

Answer: Poet is prayer to God and asking for strength to give the world what it dreamt in their lives so they will also feel that how beautiful the world is.

 

B) Complete the poem:

God, please give me the strength that I need

to give a little world to those

who have dreamt for it all their lives

so that they know how it feels

to have the beautiful world that I have.
