Dear Sam,

I hope you and your family is doing well. I wish could tell you where I am right now. I miss you a lot.

Our whole village has been moved to other village. A few days ago, some terrorists came and threatened us and this is why we have been living in a secluded place since then. We had been attacked once but luckily we were saved but the fear of being killed is still there. We are living in constant fear of getting located and killed. Every day is a not a new day for us but it is a new fear that emerges in our minds. I cannot even express the feelings that I am going through right now. Every second feels like an hour to me. I miss you and school. I miss having fun with you. I miss living my life, now I feel like I just exist and just take breath.

We don’t really have much of connection with the outer world. We don’t have proper supply of water or electricity. We cannot live our lives normally. In case we are found out, there will be chances of us getting killed. I’m writing this to you just to tell you what me and my people are going through.

Pray for our well-being and safety.

Yours lovingly

Mahesh
