1.) The poem describes the poet’s personal experience. Does it stop at that?
Answer: The poem is not just as the reflection of poet’s personal experience but it gives overall picture of the situation of the women in general. It is a woman who carries a child and gives life to it. She goes through a lot emotionally and physically as well while giving birth to a child. But there are some men shun women’s capabilities and just have lust of her. The poet feels ashamed of such people and mentality. He doesn’t like the men take away the right of the women.
