2.) Describe the military achievements of Babar.

- Babar defeated the Delhi sultan Ibrahim Lodhi in the battle of Panipat in 1526 and established the Moghul dynasty in India.
- Babar’s military achieved the battle and this battle is known as the first battle of Panipat. Delhi was his capital.
- Over a period of four years, he defeated RanaSangramsingh of Mewad, the Rajput king Mediniraya of Chanderi and Ibrahim Lodhi’s brother, Mohammad Lodhi.
- Babar conquered Panipath, Goghra and Kanwa. He established Moghul rule over a Capital letter area in North India.

- Shahjahan also contributed in constructing the Red Fort at Delhi and the buildings in it. Hence, his period is referred to as the ‘Golden Age of Moghul Art and Architecture’.

Shivaji’s mother , Jijabaiwas a woman who had deep belief in religion. Same she taught her son Shivaji. Jijabai nurtured Shivaji in such way that Shivaji became a strong brave king of Maratha empire.
Jijabaiinculcated values like patriotism, love of Dharma in Shivaji. She did this by telling Shivaji stories of Ramayana, Mahabharata and other epic stories. Jijabai not only gave right education to Shivaji but also teach him to use weapons used in wars.
Jijabai sowed seed of love for the nation in Shivaji heart.
