(1) Describe the geographical features of India briefly

Ans: – The geographical diversity of India is very astonishing. There are skyscrapers to protect the country. The infinite blue sea is surrounded on three sides. The Indian main land stretches from Indira kal in Kashmir in the north of Kanya Kumari in the south. And it extends from Kutch in Gujarat in the west to Arunachal Pradesh in the east to the northeast of India are China, Nepal, Bhutan. To the northwest are Pakistan and Afghanistan. To the east of India is Myanmar, Bangladesh and Bay of Bengal , And to the South of India is the Indian ocean, The Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

(2.) What are the valleys through which the attacks on India have taken place?

Ans. The attack have been mainly from the north western side through the valleys of Bolan and Khyber passes.

(3.) What is meant by ‘Pre-historic Age’ ?

Ans. At the very beginning people did not know how to read or write at that time. They fought wild beasts of the forest to survive. They ate raw meat. Lived like an animal. That time we call ‘pre-historic’ age.

(4.) How did animal husbandry and dairying start?

Ans.  In the beginning people used to kill animals to eat their meat. Overtime people realized that if they took care of the prey without killing it. They would gave birth to a baby again. As a result, they no longer have to roam the forest for hunting if necessary. People saw that the calves drank mother milk by mouth. Thus way animal husbandry and dairying start.
