1.) Alur Venkatrao, Fazal Ali Commission

Answer – a) Alur Venkatrao – Alur Venkatrao was the most prominent person who struggled for the progress of Karnataka state, Kannada Language and Kannada Culture. Making Kannada people understand the glory of their land and language was his main objective. He published a book named as ‘Past Glory of Karnataka’ with his own funds. In 1941, Hyderabad – Kannadigas felicitated him and gave title ‘Karnataka Kulapurohita’.

b) Fazal Ali Commission – The central government appointed a committee called State Re-Organisation Committee. The President of this committee was Fazal Ali Commision. He has recommended most parts of Ballari to Andhra State.
