Understanding the Poem
1.) Where does the traveller find himself? What problem does he face?
Answer: The traveler finds himself on the diverged roads of yellow woods. He saw that one road goes through the forest whereas another road has green grass. These two roads led him to confusion that he could not decide where to go.
2.) What is the difference between the two roads as described by the poet in stanzas two and three?
Answer: There is a huge difference between the two roads. The first road takes to the deep forest whereas the second road takes to the grassy land.
