1) What are the advantages of using a presentation?
Ans:- The advantages of using a presentation are as follows:-
i) In the MNCs or big companies, Presentations are used to explain the ideas/vision of the person to the group of people.
ii) Presentation are very useful in Schools and colleges for education/teaching purpose. For ex:- Teachers can explain the difficult/complicated concept to the students by adding pictures, animation effects to the presentation.
iii) Before the construction of the buildings, the models can be created with the help of presentation. It’s more costly when the models are been prepared/ created by using cardboards/ other materials.
iv) Whatever presentations are created can be printed by using computers.
2) What objects can be inserted to slides Impress ?
Ans:- The objects like bulleted or numbered lists, texts, tables, pictures, charts and graphics can be inserted to slides Impress.
3) What are the steps to add a picture or object to the slide?
Ans:- Following are the steps to add a picture or object to the slide are as follows:-
A) To add a picture from the clipart available in layout perform the steps mentioned :
i) Select the slide format which is having the picture frame from the Layout.
ii) If you double click the picture within the frame. Which will open Insert picture dialog box.
iii) Click on the picture that you want to insert.
iv) Click open. Whatever the selected picture gets inserted into the workspace.
B) To add a picture from the graphics file perform the steps mentioned :
i) Select Insert Picture from File menu. The Insert picture dialog box opens.
ii) Select the file and then select the picture you want to insert and click Open.
iii) Move the picture to the desired location.
iv) Resize the picture, if necessary.
You can also insert the text or objects by clicking on the respective frames
4) How text can be added to header or footer on the slides?
Ans:- Following are the steps to add or insert a text object in Header and Footer
A) To add a text objects to the master page for your slides to act act as a Header and Footer:-
i) Choose view Master Slide Master from the menu bar
ii) On the drawing tool bar, select the text icon, available at the bottom screen.
iii) For adding the text object in the Master page you have to click once and drag and then type or paste the text in the object.
iv) Choose view Normal on completion of the task.
B) To add a text object in the Header and Footer:-
Insert Fields from the sub menu select the required field

6) Write steps to create your own template.
Ans:- The steps to create your own template in the presentation are:-
i) Open the presentation that you need in a template and if require you can make the changes to it.
ii) Once its completed, then you can select the Templates and you can saved it from the Main Menu. The templates window will be displayed.
iii) In the new template field, you can type the new name to the template.
iv) You can even select the location by clicking on the folder where you can save the templates for ex. My Templates.
v) Now just click on the Ok button and then close the window.
