(1) Answer the following questions in detail.
(i) Describe architectural style of Taj Mahal.
Ans: Taj Mahal is located at Agra in Up on the bank of river. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. It was made by Mughal king Shahajahan in the memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Mumtaz Mahal died in 1630 AD after her death the construction of Taj Mahal start in 1631 AD. Shahajahan used expert Indian sculptors besides Iranian, Arabian, Turkish and European sculptors were also engaged in the construction of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal count as one of the best tombs of the world. This tomb the name of Mumtaz Mahal. It is surrounded by beautiful artistic octagonal fence, carved out of stone. Pious hearts are welcome in the garden of paradise. The architecture of Taj glorifies the rich heritage of India.
(ii) Write a note on the places of cultural heritage of Gujarat.
Ans: Many beautiful architectural site can be seen here like cave Architectures, temples, forts, vav, arches.
Dholavera : Dholavera and Lothal are main cities of Indus valley civilization. Dholavera is at Bhachav taluka in kuchchh district, Dholavera is known for its ideal town planning bead making factories and ornament making shell were found.
Lothal : Lothal is near Ahmedabad Bhavnagar highway is architectural place. Which was main centre of trade and commerce.

(iii) Write a note on the Red fort of Delhi.
Ans: Red fort built by shahajahan. This fort is made of red stone. Sahajahan found city name sahajahanabad in same fort. This fort includes Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Rang Mahal. Diwan-e-khas is more magnificently decorate than other buildings. It is decorate with amalgamation of gold and silver with precious stones.
Rang mahal, Mirror palace of Mumtaz, Lahori gate, Meena bazaar and Mughal Garden which are the centre of attraction of red fort. Peacock throne is the best creation of this fort. Red fort is one of the outstanding buildings. Every year our Indian flag is hoisted on the red fort on National festivals.
(2) Answer the following questions point wise.
(i) Explain art of Architecture of Hampi.
Ans: Hampi art is near to bank of river Tanga-bhadra of Hospet in bellary district of Karnataka. Hampi was the capital city of Vijaynagar kingdom. The rulers of vijaynagar weve lovers of art. Peculiar type of architecture was develop in Vijaynagar. Period of Krishnadevaraya was golden period of this art. Architecture style of Vijaynagar was carve out huge and magnificent pillars from the stones. Pillars figures of Gods, Goddesses, Humans, Animals, worriors and dancers. Virupaksha temple Achyutaray temple of Jord Krishna are the best example of Architecture.
(ii) Write about Khajuraho Temples.
Ans: Khajuraho Temples are located in a small village name khajuraho of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho was the ancient capital city of the chandela Rajputs of Bundelkhand presentaly, 25 temples are in existence. Some of them are vaishnav and Jain temples 64 yoginis temples is the main temple. The toran of the temple is the best example of ornamental style of Architecture. (iii) Write a note on the sun temple of Konark.
Ans: It is nearby of Bengal at Puri district in Odisha. It was constructed in 13th century during king Narsinh Varman – I. This chariot temple draw by seven houses took the form of chariot of sun God. It has 12 massive wheels, providing beauty of the pedatal of temple. These wheels reflect twelve months. (iv) Write about Bruhdeshwar temple.
Ans: This temple is located at Tanjur in Tamilnadu. It is a shiva temple. It is called Bruhadeshwar. It is built by king Rajraja-I of chola dynasty. It is known as Rajrajeshwar temple. Height of temple 500 feet, width is 250 feet. It is summit is 200 feet high. This is a marvelous heritage of architectural art of India. It is gorgeous and huge size of pinnacle.

Ans: Elephanta caves are built in the Arabian sea. It is 12 km away from Maharashtra. There are 7 caves in all. There is huge stone of an elephant on seeing this structure the Portuguese name it elephant. Many beautiful figure have been like ‘Trimurti Temple’. In 1987 AD UNESCO has place ‘Elephanta cave’ in the list of world heritage local fisherman call it Dharapuri.
(iii) Write a short note on Qutub Minar.

Ans: The Christian missionaries come to India with the Portuguese to spread christianity.
