The other geese kept on delaying the matter of cutting the creeper until it became strong & surrounded the tree like a rope. One fine day the geese had flew away in search of food when the hunter came & spread his net in the tree, climbing the creeper. The hunter had the intention to catch the geese as they return in the evening.

As soon as the geese returned they would not notice the net & got trapped into it. All of them struggled hard but could not come out. All of them started to shout for help. Then the old geese replied not to shout for help. He then told how he asked several times to destroy the creeper but no one paid heed to his advise. All the geese then realised their mistake & asked the old geese what they should do. The old geese then advised that they would pretend as dead birds when the hunter comes. The hunter would throw the dead birds come & then would instantly fly & save their lives.
