First law of thermodynamic Formula

First law of thermodynamic Formula

The first law of thermodynamic is also known as law  conservation of energy .

This law means energy is neither created nor destroyed rather it only transferred from one form to another.

OR

The energy is isolated system remain conserve , it can change from one form to another.

Example:.  We have to container or system which is compressed by piston , when we applied heat energy to the system so these heat energy is converted into internal energy as well as work done by this energy  like when we applied heat the momentum or velocity of gas particles are increase. And temperature also increase.

Same procedure like pressure cooker when we make a food applied heat energy the city of pressure cooker  is goes upward.

Formula:

∆U = ∆q + ∆W

∆U = change in internal energy

∆q = heat added to the system

∆W =  work done by the system
