The word ‘Television’ is a long form of the abbreviation of T.V: T.V is a small or a big box operated by an antenna in previous times which operates on electricity. It has buttons to on & off the television has moving pictures & sounds. Television has went through a lot of development by the passing time.
It was a small box only displaying black & white picture when it was invented. Later sound was synchronized along with the picture making it more expressive. The size of the television kept changing & then finally the colour picture came.
Audience could see colourful pictures of the television which brought excitement for them various chances could be seen which entertained people of all ages. Television has now became the necessity of people. We are aware of the happenings of the world around us with the help of television. Various news channels are broadcasted of different languages.
The television was later turned into wall hanging object which required no support at all. The models of the television are modified along with the picture quality & the sound. The small box is like a ‘working encyclopedia’ providing useful information & entertainment at the same time. It has no time limit of operation & works manually on the demand of the audience. The television also has a remote control with various buttons. The channels can be changed along with the increase & the decrease of the volume. The colours of the television can be adjusted at our own choice. Having a television at home keeps you updated about the world. It can also refresh us with various movie channels & music channels. The television was invented by Philo Farnsworth in 1934. It is a huge successful achievement. Which is till date helping the audience.
The television also had certain disadvantage. It needs electricity for operation as long as electricity is available the television keeps operating but as the electricity is cut off the television stops functioning sitting near the T.V for too long proves to be harmful for the eyes. It also hampers the daily activities of a person as he becomes busy with it. Thus the invention of science should be handled carefully so that it continues entertaining us.
