Sports & games are not only meant for fun but also help to develop the mental & physical health of the body. There is a major difference between sports & games. Sports can only be played in open field or open space where games can be played both in a close space & an open space. But both of them have equal benefits for the body & the mind.
Sports have lots of health benefits, as it includes lots of hard work. It improves the blow flow in the body thus boosting the immunity & the heart function. The heart pumps proper amount of blood which is good for the heart. Running, jumping etc are a part of sports which leads to sweating that helps to detoxify the body. Playing outdoor sports in the winter season proves to be beneficial for the body. The vitamin D received from the sunlight is very useful for the body. Sports also improve the core strength of the body by improving the stamina which proves to be helpful in the long run.
Sports & games are not only beneficial for the body but also improves the mental health of the body. Games such as Ludo, chess, carrom etc linger the thinking capacity of a person thus improving mental health. Sports & games also teach many good values to individual. Sportsmanship, teamwork & participation spirit can be learnt from sports & games. The habit of punctuality is also embraced from sports & Games. People try to follow a healthy lifestyle which includes having a proper diet which is beneficial to maintain a healthy body.
Sports & games are also proved to be stress-reliever. It helps to improve the mood & relieve stress. Playing in an open environment helps to build a relationship with nature which helps to improve the mental health. It brings back the enthusiasm in life, as a result people start feeling fresh & free.
But everything has some disadvantage. Sports & games also sometimes prove to be harmful & dangerous. The sport should be played carefully to be aware of the hazards. Forever playing outdoor sports for long time makes the body feel tired & exhausted. Proper rest needs to be taken to balance the body.
