National Park

1. A sanctuary which provides protection for species, a naturally occurring sanctuary like an island and protects species from predation, hunting, and a protected area where wildlife is protected is referred as Wildlife Sanctuary. A naturally protected area by the government for the environmental preservation and recreational purposes are referred as National park.
2. Preservation of insects, birds and animals takes place in Wildlife sanctuary. National park includes landscape, historical objects, flora and fauna.
3. Wildlife sanctuary do not allow grazing. National Park allows grazing.
4. Wildlife sanctuary contains less restrictions. National park contains heavy restrictions.
5. Wildlife sanctuary do not have definite boundary. National park have specific boundary.
6. No permission for private ownership Or habitation of human is allowed in Wildlife sanctuary. Permission for private ownership Or habitation of human is not allowed in the national park.
7. Examples of wildlife sanctuary includes Sultanpur bird sanctuary, and Vellode Bird Sanctuary. Examples of National park includes Yellowstone park and Jim Corbett national park etc.
