Sieving is a simple separation technique which is used to separate the components of different sizes. |
Winnowing is The process of separation of grains from the Chaffs. |
Sieving is done for separation of very small size of impurity like dust and small bugs found in grains etc. |
Winnowing process is done after process of threshing. |
The sifting of small particle size of material like flour is carried out manually using sieve which has a very small holes. |
