1. Microspores which are granular, contains male gametes, useful for fertilisation and each cell contains two male gametes, this is known as Pollen grains. A plant structure or plant organ of the flowering plant which undergoes fertilisation and forms the seeds of plant, this is known as Ovule.

2. The production of pollen grain occurs inside the anthers of the stamen. The production of ovule occurs inside the ovary of the pistil.
