1. The smallest unit which is present is the plants and able to perform life functions, this is referred as Plant cell. The smallest unit which is present is the animals and able to perform life functions, this is referred as Animal cell.
2. Plant cell do not contain lysosomes and contains chloroplast. Animal cell contains lysosomes and do not contain chloroplast.
3. Plant cell is generally fixed and rectangular in shape. Animal cell is generally irregular and round in shape.
4. Plant cell have cell wall and plant cell is made up of glyoxysomes. Animal cell do not have cell wall and is not made up of glyoxysomes.
5. Plant cell do not contain centrioles and centrosome. Animal cell contains centrioles and centrosome.
6. Plant cell have permanent shape or has definite shape due to rigid wall. Animal cell can change its shape. Hence, don’t have definite shape.
7. Plastids are present in the plant cells. Plastids are not present in the animal cells.
