1. Oesophagus refers to the muscular tube which is a part of digestive system and runs along the neck and chest, when we swallow food it passes to oesophagus. Trachea refers a large airway, bony tube which connects the nose and mouth to the lungs, it is a part of respiratory system.
2. Oesophagus is also known for food pipe. Trachea is also known for wind pipe.
