Difference between MP of simple microscope and Compound microscope
Microscope is an instrument which produce the enlarged image of small object and gives very close view to the observer. Microscope always holds their special place in the field of optics due to their applications. A magnifying instrument which is made of two types of lens to magnify the object with different zoom levels of magnification is called a compound microscope. A magnifying instrument which uses only one lens to magnify objects is called a simple microscope. The Simple and compound microscopes serve different purposes and are constructed in different ways. The difference between simple and compound microscope is as follows.
Simple microscope | Compound Microscope |
1) A magnifying instrument which is made of two types of lens to magnify the object with different zoom levels of magnification is called a compound microscope.
2) In simple microscope only single magnifying object is used. 3) The magnification level is low in the simple microscope. 4) The condenser lens is absent in the simple microscope. 5) The mirror used in the simple microscope is concave mirror. 6) In simple microscope we can not adjust the magnification. 7) The simple microscope is used for the general purpose. |
1) A magnifying instrument which uses only one lens to magnify objects is called a simple microscope.
2) In compound microscope more than 2 magnifying objecs are used. 3) The magnification level is low in the simple microscope. 4) In compound microscope the condenser lens is present. 5) The mirror used in the compound microscope having one side plane and other side is concave. 6) In the compound microscope we can adjust the magnification. 7) The compound microscope is used for research as well as professional purpose.
